KuCoin to Support OBT Token with Trading Pairs and Bot Services Starting January 20

  • KuCoin lists Orbiter Finance (OBT) on its spot platform, with trading starting on Monday.

  • Airdrop eligibility for users who interacted with the Orbiter protocol will begin on January 20.

KuCoin exchange has announced the listing of Orbiter Finance (OBT), a fast-growing crypto project. In the announcement, the exchange expressed excitement about welcoming the OBT token to its spot platform.

As part of the new integration, KuCoin will support OBT token transactions via the ARB-ERC20 network.

Orbiter Finance (OBT) Trading Goes Live

Trading of OBT on the KuCoin spot platform will begin on Monday, January 20. OBT will be available for trading against USDT under the OBT/USDT pair. Additionally, withdrawal services will be enabled 24 hours after trading commences.

Furthermore, KuCoin will introduce various bot trading services for OBT once trading begins. The OBT/USDT pair will be available for trading bots: Spot Grid, Infinity Grid, DCA, Smart Rebalance, Spot Martingale, Spot Grid AI Plus, and AI Spot Trend.

What is Orbiter Finance?

For those unfamiliar, Orbiter Finance is a blockchain interoperability protocol that uses zero-knowledge proofs (ZK-tech). This tech boosts security, makes cross-chain interactions smoother, and reduces liquidity fragmentation.

Orbiter aims to improve the Web3 experience for users in the multichain era. They offer tools like a universal cross-chain protocol and Omni Account Abstraction. Since its launch three years ago, Orbiter has attracted over 4.3 million users, processed over $28 billion in transactions, and completed over 35 million transactions.

OBT: The Orbiter Finance Token

The OBT token is the native governance and utility token of the Orbiter Finance protocol. It is an ERC-20 token, with governance set to open in February 2025. 

OBT has a total supply of 2.8 billion tokens, with 28% circulating at the Token Generation Event (TGE) on Monday. Here’s how the token allocation breaks down:

  • 40% for the community (22% set aside for airdrops)
  • 20% for ecosystem and growth
  • 15% for the Orbiter Foundation
  • 15% for the team and contributors
  • 10% for investors

Orbiter Finance Airdrop Details

To qualify for the airdrop, users must have interacted with the Orbiter protocol for at least two months since December 2021 and hold a minimum of 40 OPoints, earned primarily through cross-chain transactions on the platform. 

Airdrop claims open on January 20, 2025, with specific claim windows based on eligibility. Orbiter will share more details about how you can use the OBT token in February 2025 when the governance mechanism goes live.
