The Artificial Intelligence digital asset sector recorded a significant surge today, nearing $54 billion, with a trading volume close to $5 billion, as the 2025 CES edition kicked off.

CES 2025 is the most powerful tech event in the world during which tech companies reveal massive announcements. This year, the event debuted with important announcements from Nvidia, among others.

AI Tokens Sector Surges

The top AI coins by market cap recorded significant surges today, and the entire market cap of the sector surged by over 1.6% in the past 24 hours, reaching $53.7 billion, and a 24-hour volume above $4.9 billion, according to data from Coin Gecko.

The top gainers are AgenTensor with a surge above 217%, Trackgood AI with a price rise of over 105%, and ZKGPT which surged by over 105% as well.

Trending AI coins include MAX which surged by over 217%, SWARMS, up by almost 50% and AI16Z, up by over 8%.

SWARMS was listed by Binance Futures earlier today, after being added by the Binance Alpha platform highlighting promising Web3 projects for the platform’s users.

We also mentioned AI16Z earlier today, revealing how a trader made around $19 million trading the coin.

Other impressive price surges among the top AI coins include ARC with a price rise of over 10% today, CRAI which surged by 33%, REI, and ALCH, up by over 22% in the last 24 hours.

Speaking of ALCH, Binance Futures also listed ALCHUSDT Perpetual Contract today.

The AI token sector kicks off 2025 on an ascendant trajectory, amidst optimistic predicitons about the sector that were revealed at the end of 2024 by a recent Binance survey.

This latest sector surge comes amidst the debut of CES 2025.
