Binance Launches Perpetual Contracts for GRIFFAIN, AI16Z, and ZEREBRO

Binance, one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges globally, has announced the launch of U-based perpetual contracts for three tokens: GRIFFAINUSDT, AI16ZUSDT, and ZEREBROUSDT.

According to the official statement from Binance, these contracts will allow for maximum leverage of up to 75x, offering significant opportunities for traders engaged in derivatives trading.

The perpetual contracts will go live in the following order:

  • GRIFFAINUSDT: January 2, 2025, at 21:30 (UTC+8)
  • AI16ZUSDT: January 2, 2025, at 21:45 (UTC+8)
  • ZEREBROUSDT: January 2, 2025, at 22:00 (UTC+8)

In addition to this development, Binance Alpha has introduced its 10th batch of project tokens. These include:

  • SWARMS: A token linked to a Solana-based artificial intelligence (AI) multi-agent collaboration protocol.
  • TAOCAT: The first self-improving AI agent operating on the Bittensor network.
  • Degen Spartan AI: An autonomous artificial intelligence agent.

Prominent cryptocurrency trader Eugene Ng Ah Sio commented on the announcement via social media, stating, “I smell the taste of today’s Binance announcement, which replaces ‘AI Agent Narrative’ with ‘Meme or Utility Token Revival.’”

Binance’s decision to introduce these contracts and project tokens aligns with the growing trend of integrating AI-based functionalities into blockchain systems, a sector that has garnered substantial attention over the past year.
