Earlier today, the second largest crypto exchange in South Korea, Bithumb, announced the upcoming listing of two digital assets, supporting the KRW market – Ancient8 (A8) and Drift (DRIFT).
Bithumb New Listing Details
In an official announcement, Bithumb revealed it would launch the A8/KRW and DRIFT/KRW trading pairs at 5:00 PM, South Korean time.
The base price for A8 will be 429 KRW and the base price for DRIFT will be 1,605 KRW.
Both coins’ prices surged following the announcement.
A8 and DRIFT Prices Surged
A8 surged from $0.28 levels to $0.37, immediately following the crypto exchange listing announcement. The coin continued its ascendant trajectory, reaching the current price of $0.39, and a market cap of around $90 million.
A8 is up by over 40% today, after surging by over 26% after Bithumb announced its upcoming listing.

DRIFT also surged following the Bithumb listing announcement, seeing a price rise from $1.12 above $0.19. At the moment of writing this article, the coin is trading at $1.15 and it has a market cap of almost $315 million.
DRIFT is up by over 6% today.
