- ETH’s 10-year anniversary is close by and the cryptocurrency could reach $10.000
- Solana had $173 million in funding in Q3 last year
- SUI reached a close to a 600% boost last year
With the new year underway, now is a great time to stock up on some altcoins. With so many to choose from, it can be hard to know which ones are worth paying attention to – though three particular altcoins seem to have an arguably bright future.
Ethereum
The most well-known cryptocurrency after Bitcoin, Ethereum will have a 10-year anniversary of its official release in July. Historically a popular choice, Ethereum had its ups and downs like any other cryptocurrency, but is still going strong, and predictions for this year are mostly good.
According to some experts, it could reach $10,000 to $12,000 this year, taking into account that Bitcoin went above its all-time high a while ago.
Solana
This crypto became quite the competition to Ethereum in the past couple of years, mostly due to having a huge number of meme coins on its platform. Messari’s analysis from last year suggested that Solana is poised for significant growth in 2025 since it’s driven by a substantial influx of funds, technological advancements, and increasing institutional interest.
The study highlights that Solana’s ecosystem attracted $173 million in funding during last year’s Q3. Per certain estimates, Solana could reach around $280 near the end of Q4 2025.
Sui
A relatively new player in the crypto world, SUI already has a big following and huge potential. In a way, it is similar to Solana in the sense both blockchains prioritize high performance. The major difference is that SUI utilizes a modified PoS (Proof-of-Stake) system, whereas Solana mixes both PoS and PoH (Proof-of-History).
Considering SUI rose almost 600% last year, the hype around it makes sense. As such, some predictions put SUI at around $11 near the end of Q4 2025, with the price likely to reach a historic peak at one point during the year.
While more altcoins are bound to have a good run in 2025, the three listed here seem to generate the most buzz among crypto investors and enthusiasts. Which one will turn out to be the most profitable is yet to be seen, though one thing is certain – there is no shortage of choices.
